Privacy policy: Snakes War

Information we collect

We collect nothing ourselves. We do not ask for a name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and the game has no account system and no analytics.

Advertising

Snakes War is free and is funded by ads. Ads are delivered through CAS.AI (Clever Ads Solutions), which mediates a number of advertising networks, among them Google AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, Liftoff, InMobi, Mintegral, Pangle, Bigo, Yandex (Yango Ads) and Meta Audience Network.

To select and measure ads, these networks may collect and process:

• your device's advertising ID (a resettable identifier) and, in some cases, an IP address;
• device and technical information such as model, operating system version, language, and approximate region derived from the IP address;
• events about the ads themselves: that an ad was requested, shown, clicked, or that a rewarded ad was watched to the end, along with in-app actions that lead to an ad being requested;
• diagnostic information about how the advertising SDK itself performs, used by those providers for analytics and to detect invalid traffic.

We run no analytics of our own and receive none of this data ourselves; the advertising providers process it for their own advertising, analytics and fraud-prevention purposes. It is handled by them as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. See the CAS.AI privacy policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. We receive only aggregated earnings reports and never see who you are.

Your choices about ads

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), you are shown a consent screen the first time you play and your choice is respected; you can bring it up again at any time from the game's settings.

Independently of that, Android lets you limit ad tracking for every app on your device: open Settings, Google, Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID. Deleting it stops personalised ads; you will still see ads, but less relevant ones.

Data stored on your device

The game saves your progress locally so you can continue where you left off. This data stays in the app's private storage on your device and is never uploaded anywhere. It consists of:

• the highest level you have unlocked and which levels you have completed;
• your in-game Rat currency balance and purchased items;
• your music and sound-effect on/off preferences.

Uninstalling Snakes War deletes this data permanently. You can also clear it at any time from Android Settings, Apps, Snakes War, Storage, Clear data.

Permissions

Snakes War requests no runtime permissions, nothing that Android asks you to approve. It declares INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE so that ads can be fetched, and com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID so the ad networks can read the advertising ID described above.

Third-party services

The only third-party component in the app is the CAS.AI advertising SDK described above, together with the ad network adapters it bundles. We have added no crash-reporting or analytics product of our own; the advertising SDK collects the diagnostic data described above for its own operation. The app is built with the Godot Engine, which does not collect data on our behalf.

Google Play itself collects some information when you download or update an app; that is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not by us.

Children

Snakes War is directed at a general audience aged 13 and over, and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided such information through the app, contact us at the address below and we will have it removed.

Your rights

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing on our side to access, correct or export. Your game progress is under your own control on your own device and is erased when you uninstall the app.

For the data the advertising networks hold, contact them directly through the privacy policies linked above, or use the advertising ID controls in your Android settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR or the CCPA to access, delete, or object to the processing of that data.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Snakes War introduces features that process data differently, for example a cloud save or a purchase system, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
